Why?
Bears are awe-inspiring creatures that symbolise strength, resilience, and
harmony with nature. Unfortunately, they face numerous challenges due to
habitat loss, poaching, and climate change.
How?
We work together with the organisation called:
Free the bears
They are an Australian-based organization whose mission is to save bears throughout Asia. Free the Bears rescues and rehabilitates bears, but they also tackle major threats, like bear poaching, exotic pet ownership and exploitation in traditional medicine. By working closely with local communities and national governments, they have many successful projects and rescues. It all started with Grandma Mary from Perth raising awareness after seeing horrific images on television of Asian bears being held in coffin-sized cages.
